Product description:

Pallet racking

consists of a number of gravity converyor lanes ranged side by side and one above another.Pallets are loaded at the upper end of the slope and travel through the block on glidewheels;they queue up at the lower end of the lanes.When a pallet is removed,the remaining pallets in the lane move forward,bringing the nest in line to the picking face.The rate of movement of pallets is controlled by centrifugal brakes.

Advantages:

Gravity Rollingcombines excellent space utilisation in some cases up to 85%,with automatic stock rotation within each lane.Pallets come out of each lane in the same sequnece as they went in.There is no possibility of one being overlooked--most important when dealing with perishables.This system is often suitable where large stocks of the same products require accommodation over short periods.Fork truck mileage is often much less thean with static pallet storage;consequently running costs are reduced.
All types of handling equipment can be considered,and frequently ageneral,purpose counterbalanced truck can be employed.
